Kitty Sullivan is an accomplished and admired performer with a theatrical career in the U.S., Ireland and England. She has played such diverse roles as Rita in Educating Rita, opposite both Milo O’Shea and Brian Bedford; Maria in The Sound of Music at the Gaiety Theatre in Dublin and Kate in Kiss Me Kate in the United Kingdom. Kitty has also appeared with The Chieftains in Carnegie Hall.

Kitty’s solo show, Ireland, Once Upon A Time debuted in the Bruno Walter Auditorium at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City. This program of harp, verse, song and storytelling was enthusiastically received and led to an invitation to perform for the then President of Ireland, Mary McAleese.

Internationally renowned flutist, Sir James Galway writes about the CD from this show. “The choice of repertoire is unique and made all the more so by Kitty’s introduction to each song. A record that brings Ireland, and all that makes our fair island so special, straight into the home of the listener. Kitty, you truly touched my soul with this beautiful recording.”
